Join other administrators and directors in our district as we learn about building up financial resources for our schools.

Lutheran Schools Ablaze! are schools who are free from the worries of financial survival as they welcome children from all economic levels into the incredible ministry of Lutheran education. Today, the way we finance the Lutheran school is in great transition. Whereas, historically, the chief source has been through the sponsoring congregation todayŐs Lutheran school is primarily funded through student tuition. Congregational and school leadership are seeking help in funding plans for Lutheran schools that build upon all the resources available.

This yearŐs AdministratorsŐ Conference calls on a creative and experienced voice of Dr. Dave Sommermeyer. Before retirement Dave served as the Executive Director of Lutheran Education Association in Houston. He is instrumental in the current national Lutheran Schools of Excellence initiative. Dave will instruct, encourage all of us on Financial Leadership, School Funding Models, Third source Income Development, and Strategic planning. After each session Dave will do group work in groups ie: early childhood, small schools, urban schools etc.
