From The Comfort Inn – Springfield turn RIGHT onto Loisdale Court. At the stop light turn LEFT onto Loisdale Road. Turn RIGHT Franconia Road/VA 644 E. Stay on Franconia. Right on Grovedale Drive. (Grovedale is between Exxon and Citgo stations).

From National Airport follow the signs out of the airport to Route 1 South (Jefferson Davis Highway). Follow signs on Route 1 to Capital Beltway (Rt. 495S and to I-95S). Continue with directions below.

From Baltimore-Washington Intl (BWI) Airport get onto Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Route 295) toward Washington. Stay on 295 until Capital Beltway exit (Rts. 495 and to I-95S) over Wilson Bridge into Virginia. Continue with directions below.

From Capital Beltway (Rt. 495): Take Exit 173 South (Van Dorn Street). This is the next exit after Eisenhower. From ramp, make a right turn onto Van Dorn (you will need to merge far right to make this turn). Proceed approximately 1 mile; turn right on Franconia Road. Stay on Franconia Road and proceed to Grovedale Drive (Exxon and Citgo gas stations on left corners). Turn left onto Grovedale. SED office is about a quarter-mile on left.

From I-95 (traveling from points south) to get to Franconia Road (Route 644 East), take exit 169A (Franconia/Springfield). Stay to your right on the exit ramp toward Franconia…comes to traffic light. Turn left on Loisdale. Follow to Franconia Road and turn right. From Franconia (about 1.6 miles) turn right onto Grovedale (between Exxon and Citgo stations - traffic light at intersection). Turn right onto Grovedale. SED office is about a quarter mile on the left.
