Prayer
Partners for Mission
Pray in the
Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication.
To that end
keep alert and always persevere in supplication
for all the
saints. (Ephesians 6: 18)
The
invitation of Christ is clear. He asks us to pray for the multitudes,
the
lost – those who are not yet of the family of faith. He was concerned
about
all the people who needed to hear the saving message of Christ.
His compassion
for them compels us to come to Him in unceasing prayer.
Prayer
is a powerful force that God has given to His people as a gift. The Bible says,
"The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective." (James
5:16).

Pray for the preparation
of new mission starts.

Pray for workers and
mission developers.
á
Pray for the power of
the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts and lives of the people in communities of
new mission starts.

Pray that God's Kingdom
would indeed come among us.
We
need Prayer Partners Ablaze for
Mission, individuals who will faithfully and regularly pray for the work of
mission and outreach. Prayer Partners will receive regular email prayer
updates. They will be about the powerful work of praying for God's mission in
the Southeastern District.
Imagine,
3000 people throughout our district praying for new missions. We need your help
to reach that goal, please pray for two people you know who could become your
prayer partners. Then the three of you would meet weekly (phone or email also
counts) to pray for the work of mission. When you have identified your
additional prayer team members, please let us know their email addresses so
that they may receive news and prayer requests.
