Dear ÇTitleÈ ÇLast_NameÈ:

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

I am pleased to announce that Ablaze! for GodÕs Mission is just beginning at CHURCH NAME.  This extraordinary effort seeks to raise a minimum of $6 million to provide funding for new and vital mission work that will fortify the Ablaze! movement.

The Ablaze! movement is the bold initiative sparked by LCMS World Mission within the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod to share the Good News of Jesus to 100 million people by the year 2017.  This date marks the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, which began as Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg.  Ablaze! for GodÕs Mission will secure the funds to reach these unchurched through mission work locally, nationally and internationally.

Within the Southeastern District Ablaze! for GodÕs Mission will enable 2.5 million unreached or uncommitted people to hear the Gospel by enlisting 3,000 new prayer partners, training 60 outreach ministry teams, and beginning work at 100 new ministry sites.

Additional information will be coming to you in the near future about this exciting endeavor.  When you receive this, I ask you to join me in supporting this historic effort to raise $100 million to benefit local, national and global mission programs of Ablaze!.

Every minute, 83 people loose their life without knowing Christ while 148 children are born who need the Good News of Jesus.  Opportunities to share the Good News of salvation abound, and we are blessed in the assurance that Christ will provide the strength required for us to accomplish the Ablaze! vision throughout the world.

I ask you to please join me in prayer for the success of Ablaze! for GodÕs Mission.  May God bless you and your family.  With assurances that I am,

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Pastor
